About S'Me....
My name is Steve Maxamillian Eusébe and I am a Singer Songwriter and Producer during the last 34 years, as well as spending the last 23 years working in Social Care after the birth of my daughter.
My life in music gave me the feeling that every day was new when creating or writing a song. I find that that the combination of working in Social Care and music have similar outcomes, where my aim is to solve problems and find solutions to achieve results.
I have always been a positive person and that positivity in music saw me signed as a SingerSongwriter by Dave A. Stewart of the Eurythmics fame.
This lead to record deals with my musical bands of the 90’s Eusebe (E.M.I Records) and with
BOND (Sony USA). That period was spent writing, recording and touring across America and Europe.
My career in Social Care started as a Contact Worker, following that I worked as a Mentor and Pastoral Manager of a Secondary Boys school.
I also worked for the Youth Offending Team (YOT) in Prevention Services.
These roles allowed me to work closely with young people and gain valuable experience.
My extensive knowledge in working with young people with my musical background, lead me to explore the avenues of mental health that arose.
This peaked my interest in this area and I became Senior Music Mentor and Producer for a Mental Health Charity working in Forensic Services.

This lead me to create 'Do The Mic 🎙Thing'!

At 'Do The Mic 🎙 Thing' I support service users and patients with writing, recording music and helping them express their thoughts and feelings in the creative process.
I provide a non judgemental, no pressure music service in an environment that patients and service users feel comfortable.
'I believe that the music is secondary and it is the tool to engagement; but it is the relationship formed that is paramount to well-being and recovery'. (S'Me)
