A FundaMental Health Music Mentoring Services
Providing Music Production and Songwriting Sessions for Hospitals and In Reach Patients,
Community Programs, Service Users and Commercial Recording Artists.
* Music Production Sessions offer one-on-one songwriting and recording, musical
collaboration, singing and rapping, creative and musical mentoring and finished
mixed and produced tracks.
* Music Performance Sessions include open mic group sessions, one-on-one singing
sessions, and overcoming nerves and performance anxiety
* The Music Workshops include beat making and music programming, songwriting, and performance.
* Up to date approved DBS.
Do The Mic Thing with Kensington Aldridge Academy
Do The Mic Thing has just finished music mentoring sessions with 8 year 9 students from Kensington Aldridge Academy and All Child at The Rugby Portobello Trust Amplify Studios.
The cohort of students were referred by the school to attend the youth club to develop their social and emotional needs in a recreational environment, and a youth club setting.

The students worked together to make the music and writing their own lyrics.
I had labelled the group The Chosen Ones as they were a very mixed set of individuals who had never really met each other before until this intervention and, most of them had never recorded a song before.
By the end of the 8 weeks they had made new friends with each other, discovered new skills and talents. They supported and gave confidence and belief that anything is possible.

Do The Mic Thing in Your School
I have a vast amount of experience working with young people in schools, youth settings and the Youth Offending Service.
I have been a Mentor and Pastoral Manager in a boys school and spent a number of years working in Prevention Services at the Youth Offending Service.
​
I have worked in a number of youth worker positions across West London including The YMCA, The Harrow Club, Rugby Portobello and The Dalgarno and so I'm a familiar face in the local area with the youth and adults alike.
​
As well as all the bands I've created with music, I am also footballer and I am the founder, ex manager and coach of Wesley Park FC an amateur football club and a father. So, I am very capable and enjoy bringing out the best in young people.
* Do The Mic Thing is also a mobile recording studio and can be easily set up in a room or classroom.
* All studio equipment is provided.
* All sessions are monitored and evaluated.
